If there's one thing most Subaru owners have in common, besides the fact that they drive a Subaru, it's a love of dogs. To further demonstrate that they share owner's affinity for dogs, Subaru recently released a suite of ads coined the "Dog Tested" campaign.
Who is seen supporting the leading cast of new Subaru models featured in the ad spots titled "Jackknife", "Beach", "Camping" and "Ski Trip"? But five furry friends: Kasey, Daisy, Paris, Penny, and Stella.
If you haven't previously seen the spots on TV, Fred Beans Subaru highly recommends you take a few minutes and check them out on YouTube. Most all dog people agree, they're a riot.
Fun commercials, however, aren't the only thing Subaru is bringing to all of the dog people out there. The Japanese automaker has dedicated an entire section of their official US website to dog owners.
To the social media obsessed, Subaru brings "Dogbook", a Facebook app which allows dog owners to create an online profile for their dog. To the folks who try to bring their dog with them whenever/wherever they travel, Subaru offers MapMyDOGWALK app. This allows dog owners to not only track and save their own personal walking routes, but search global databases for new routes. In addition, MapMyDOGWALK lends Subaru owners access to fitness calculators, special dog events, and a social network exclusive to healthy, active people and their furry, four-legged companions.
