Consumer Reports knows a thing of two about automobiles. This year, they've ranked the 2012 Subaru Impreza as one of the best autos out there, singling out the vehicle above other models from the Japanese company. Subaru beat out 13 major auto makers in CR's study.
Consumer Reports said Subaru earned top honors in part due to their "wave of impressive redesigned models in the last few years."1
The Consumer Reports "report card" - published officially in the April addition - is based on performance, comfort, utility, and reliability in the consumer survey. Along with Impreza, Consumer Reports named Outback and Legacy as great achievements. Subaru brand's average road-test reached a score of 82 - the highest in CR's study.
