Subaru of America has yet another reason to celebrate. Fred Beans Subaru in Doylestown, PA experienced a great month sales-wise in March of 2012. Overall, Subaru of America saw a strong increase in sales of approximately 20.30%. Some of the automaker's success can be attributed to the revamped Subaru Impreza.
March of 2012 holds the current record for second highest monthly sales.
The official figures are as follows: Subaru of America sold 32,387 vehicles in March 2012, which is up from 26,916 in March 2011.
CNBC Money reported that "Sales of the Impreza more than tripled, to 8,545 from 2,719 a year ago, but sales of the sportier WRX version fell 12.8 percent to 1,197."1
But the Top Seller was Subaru's Outback wagon, with 10,886 units off dealer lots. That is a 3.7% increase over the same month last year.
